AmeriCorps
Welcome to the webpage for the AmeriCorps-MD CASA Association partnership. We are extremely excited about the opportunity to be an official service site for the AmeriCorps program. We hope that as Maryland CASA continues to advocate for abused and neglected children, AmeriCorps Members will be standing right there to help us enhance and promote the work we do with abused children around Maryland. On this section of the site, we will keep you updated about all AmeriCorps activities, keep you connected with the latest AmeriCorps resources and provide the needed information to ensure our AmeriCorps members, local service sites and staff stay informed.
History
In October 2009, Maryland CASA Association was awarded funding by the Governor’s Office of Service and Volunteerism to become a site for the AmeriCorps program. Since that time, MD CASA has been in high gear as we have been recruiting the perfect MD CASA AmeriCorps Member to be apart of the Team. As of January 4th, MD CASA Association was able to recruit five AmeriCorps members for our five local program/service sites.
We thank you for your interest in becoming a AmeriCorps member but our application process is now closed. However, for more information about other volunteer opportunities please visit our Contact Us page.
