Maryland CASA (Court Appointed Special Advocates) Association is seeking an experienced quality assurance professional for an exciting new full-time position. The Quality Assurance Specialist will create and implement a statewide QA program to ensure compliance with state standards and promote high quality performance among affiliated CASA programs. The successful candidate will have a minimum of a bachelor’s degree in related field; advanced degree preferred. Candidate must be computer proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and data collection software; must be highly skilled in collecting and analyzing data and writing reports; must possess excellent written and oral communication skills, the ability to work independently and meet deadlines. Minimum of 1-3 years of experience developing and/or implementing quality assurance programs, preferably in a nonprofit setting. Child welfare experience strongly preferred. Position is based in Towson, MD office and involves statewide travel (may involve overnight stay). Primarily weekday hours, with periodic evenings and 2-3 Saturdays per year. Position is contingent upon receipt of funding and, if awarded, will begin in July 2017.
