Maryland CASA At Maryland Public Television Pledge Drive

Maryland CASA Association staff, board members and volunteers
staffed the Maryland Public Television (Channel 22) pledge drive
3pm-7pm.  The CASA logo was featured and Edward Kilcullen,
Executive Director, was interviewed about Maryland CASA Association
and its contribution to the community.

Forgotten Children Display in Washington, DC
Monday, May 19 - Friday, May 23, 2008

CASA participated in the "Forgotten Children" event held on the
Washington, DC Mall.  Edward Kilcullen, Executive Director of the
Maryland CASA Association, was interviewed on 1420 WNAV Radio
Friday, May 16, 2008 during the Bill Lusby
Good Morning Annapolis
show at 9:30am about the event.  In addition, Mr. Kilcullen was  
interviewed on Fox 45 WBFF on Monday, May 19, 2008 at 6:30am.

Maryland CASA staff and volunteers staffed a booth and were
available to discuss CASA with event visitors.  Information about
CASA was on hand for distribution.  Volunteer recruitment was a
major goal of the event, as well as increased public awareness.

CASA Meets Congress
Tuesday, June 10, 2008

Immediately following the close of the successful 27th Annual National
CASA Conference, a group of volunteers, staff, judges and other child
advocates carried the CASA message to members of Congress.  This
event was supported entirely with private funds.  Photos from the event
appear below.
