2021 Annual Appeal
Imagine spending the holidays away from your family, away from your friends and neighbors. For more than 4,500 children in Maryland, that is their reality. Nearly 1,300 Court Appointed Special Advocate (CASA) volunteers have worked tirelessly during the past year to help more than 1,450 children get closer to safe and permanent homes - to give them hope.Unfortunately, only 1 in 5 children in Maryland has a CASA volunteer to ensure they reach safe and permanent homes in a timely manner. Maryland CASA is working hard to bring CASA to more children by recruiting and training volunteers and providing technical assistance to our 14 affiliated CASA programs across the state of Maryland. We are also actively working to expand CASA to children in the three remaining un-served counties in Maryland.This important work would not be possible without our donors.
