2021 Baltimore Running Festival

After a pause in 2020, Team CASA is excited to participate in the upcoming 2021 Baltimore Running Festival!  The previous support Maryland CASA has received helped to spread the message about the organization’s important mission and to further assist in funding critical programming benefiting victims of child abuse and neglect.  The Baltimore Running Festival takes place on Saturday, October 9, 2021, and Maryland CASA Association is looking for runners and walkers of all ages and abilities to participate in fundraising efforts.  This year, Team CASA members can run (or walk) any of the distances – from marathon to 5k – and can join in person or virtually (which you can do ANYTIME, ANYWHERE). Once runners and walkers register for the Baltimore Running Festival on the BRF website, participants are asked to create their own individual or team fundraising page at GoTeamCASA.org and help the organization reach its $20,000 goal. Maryland CASA hosted a virtual orientation on September 27, 2021, at 6:30 PM for those wanting to learn more about the registration and fundraising process. Please note that a recording of the orientation is available for participants who could not attend the information session. Although Team CASA will not have a tent in the Charity Village this year at the Baltimore Running Festival, there are plans to recognize the teams and individuals who fundraised at a post-race celebration on Sunday, October 10, 2021, at the Towson Fall Festival Even if you have already registered for the 2021 Baltimore Running Festival, you can still join us and fundraise for Maryland CASA Association by registering at GoTeamCASA.org For more information, please contact Trish Woodward at trish@marylandcasa.org.
