CASA of Caroline County Job Announcement

CASA of Caroline, Inc., a private, non-profit organization providing trained advocates for abused and neglected children in foster care, is seeking a part-time (25-30 hours) Executive Director.  This position will be responsible for administrative and financial oversight of the organization, volunteer recruitment, training and supervision, case management, collaboration with the court and other stakeholders, grant-writing and administration.The position requires a master’s degree in social work, psychology or child welfare-related field, or a bachelor’s degree and an equivalent number of years of child welfare and/or non-profit management experience, a minimum of five years of experience in child welfare field, and two years of experience in administration or supervision.  Position also requires demonstrated knowledge and understanding of the juvenile court system and the needs of abused and neglected children, and strong fundraising/development experience.   Position involves some evening and periodic weekend hours.  To apply, send resume’ and cover letter to carolinecasa@verizon.net.  EOE
