Maryland CASA Association Plans 2021 15th Annual Conference

For its 15th annual Conference on Child Well-Being, Maryland CASA Association will *virtually* bring together professionals and volunteer advocates from across the state and beyond to learn from national and regional experts on child welfare, mental health, addictions, education, disabilities, and many other topics. The three-day event will take place through the virtual Whova platform, in which attendees can register for one, two, or all three days of the Conference. The Conference agenda will feature two institutes – one on diversity, equity, and inclusion in child welfare and another on Fetal Alcohol Spectrum Disorders. Days one and three will feature these institutes, with day two following a more traditional conference format. Day two will feature keynote speaker Maryland Delegate C.T. Wilson. The Conference will highlight the multitude of strengths children in the foster care system have and how the CASA volunteers and the professionals who serve them can help to nurture and support these children.
