Maryland CASA Welcomes Darlene Pence to Board of Directors
Towson, Md. -- Maryland CASA (Court Appointed Special Advocate) Association has appointed Darlene Pence to a two-year term on its board of directors.A resident of Federal Hill, Ms. Pence bring over 25 years of human resource management to the table, and her goal is to aid Maryland CASA in their mission of ensuring abused and neglected children their right to safe and permanent homes. She presently resides with her loving husband Alex, and their two children Elise & Evan, ages 22 and 25.“I am at a time in my life that I have the time and commitment to put my efforts towards something I believe in,” said Pence. “My children were fortunate to be raised in a loving and safe environment, and I look forward to helping those who have not be afforded that opportunity,” she added.Pence earned her Bachelors of Science from the University of Delaware and went on to attain her Master’s Degree in Human Resources Management from Widener University.
